A little bit about me
I’m Michelle— half-Japanese, half-Salvadoran, born of immigrant parents, living in LA with my spouse, dog Pepe, and two boys. I believe in the power of culture, stories, and shared experiences. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and am committed to ongoing learning around teams, creativity, cultures, healing, and mindfulness.
Professionally, I have worked with some of the most eminent brands and the world’s most revered creators. I am a Creative Producer (with various job titles under my belt) with over 20 years of experience managing studios, innovative programs, and creative campaigns across brands, consultancies, and agencies. Driven by creativity, attention to detail, and the importance of connections, I aim to make things happen with grace and joy. Learn more about my work experience here.
I'm deeply passionate about well-being and am a yogi and a yoga teacher. I’m inspired by the transformative power of yoga and love witnessing how it helps people unlock their potential through practice. I believe in yoga as a journey to self-realization. By integrating music, mantras, meditation, and various therapeutic and somatic practices, I hope to create a comprehensive and holistic experience in my class and at wellness retreats. You can find me teaching at Yogavibe and running retreats with Sol-Moon Retreats.
My philosophy in both my professional and my wellness work centers on the belief that a person’s well-being is intricately linked to their ability to fully contribute and share their unique gifts with the world. It brings me great joy to work with others and bring my lived experience, my experience with creatives and brands, and my yoga practice into every aspect of my life and my work.
